What a fantastic side-by-side concert! Thank you to the Youth Orchestra for your dedication and hard work this spring, and thank you so much to all of the Greensboro Symphony musicians who played with us.

This spring has been a real musical journey. It also highlighted the benefits of audiation - in this case, so that even at the first rehearsal, (when many people were sightreading,) to be able to hear the pieces as they could be - and indeed, as they became! It helps us to understand the music, to trust the process, and to make the final performance all that it can be.

There will be many more updates for the Youth Orchestra in the near future. In the meantime, many thanks to all of our supporters, members, families, teachers, and community. Congratulations again to our graduating seniors, and I hope to see everyone else back in the fall for more great music!
